Jonas Stadler

Jonas Stadler works in the subject field of transport. His main emphasis is on service and operation planning in public rail and bus systems, as well as on system evaluations, network development, and demand analyses for public transport systems. Furthermore, he works in the thematic area of the coordination between settlement development and traffic.

He studied civil engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland, completing his Master’s degree with majors in transport systems and geotechnical engineering. In his Master’s thesis, he analyzed possibilities for increasing rail capacities between Basel (CH) and the Mittelland region (Swiss Central Plateau). During his studies, he completed an internship in the fields of network development and service offer planning for public transport systems.
