Caspar Esche works in the thematic areas of transportation as well as in environment, climate, and energy, with focus on economic analyses, air transport, transportation economics, and envi-ronmental economics.

He studied economics at the University of Münster. In his Master’s thesis, he studied the effects of unilateral CO2 pricing on the intermodal competition between air and rail transport. During his studies, he was an intern for the air-consulting firm Avinomics GmbH in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
