Quirin Oberpriller works in the subject field environment, climate and energy. He primarily focuses on national and international climate policy, climate mitigation instruments as well as economic evaluations.

After his studies in Process Engineering, he gained implementing experience as an engineer. Subsequently, he did a Master's degree in Atmospheric and Climate Sciences and a macroeconomic Doctoral thesis on climate economics at the ETH Zurich (CH). After that, he worked at a Swiss consultant company, where he was mainly concerned with the implementation and evaluation of Swiss climate mitigation instruments (compensation projects, emission trading and agreements on energy and climate objectives) as well as with climate scenarios, which he set up and prepared in a user-adapted manner.
