Christoph Petry works in the subject fields economics and society as well as transport. He primarily focuses on spatial and transport policy, strategy consulting and evaluation.

He studied Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz (DE) as well as European Governance at Utrecht University (NL) under a double-degree master's programme. In his master's thesis, he focused on the European funding programme Interreg. During his studies, he did several internships e.g. at the Department for European Affairs at the Senate Chancellery of the City of Hamburg (DE), at the Deutsche Bahn (DE) and in several newsrooms of the public-service television broadcaster ZDF.
