Moritz Reisser works in the Environment and Climate business area, focussing on sustainable finance, sustainability ratings and climate protection. In this role, he co-leads the research team of the ESG rating agency Inrate together with Judith Reutimann. He also regularly lectures on sustainability ratings and impact measurement in the financial sector in continuing education courses at various colleges and universities.

He is a master's graduate in Earth System Science and did his PhD at the University of Zurich on the topic of pyrogenic carbon in soils and its impact on the carbon cycle. He then worked as a consultant for an auditing company, specialising in forensic investigations and expert opinions. During this time, he completed a CAS in Corporate Responsibility at Zurich University of Applied Science ZHAW. Subsequently, he was responsible for company’s center for the Sustainability and Impact.
