Judith Reutimann works in the subject fields environment, energy and sustainability. She primarily focuses on sustainability ratings, substance flow analyses and sustainable financial investments.

She studied Environmental Sciences at the ETH Zurich (CH), specialising on Chemistry/Microbiology and Aquatic Aystems. In her thesis, she examined the nutrient loads and microbial methane oxidation in the lakes of the Danube delta. She did an internship at a foundation in Kenya, where she was concerned with the water quality of rivers in the Mount Kenya region. During her studies, she acquired professional experience in an environmental communications office. After she graduated, she worked as a research associate at the ETH and the EAWAG in Zurich and Dübendorf (CH).
