Isabel Plana

Isabel Plana works in the communications team and supports her colleagues in the areas of text and graphics. Her responsibilities include managing website and social media communications, the journalistic preparation of reports and presentations, as well as conducting internal communi-cation training.

She studied geography at the University of Zurich while also working in local journalism. After completing her studies, she worked for the Swiss Academy of Sciences and for Swiss Mountain Aid. Most recently, she was self-employed and wrote for various clients in the environmental sector, including Eawag, Bioterra and the Federal Office for the Environment. In 2023 she completed the certificate of advanced studies in data visualization at the Bern University of the Arts.
