Francesca Foletti works in the areas of transport and space. Her main focus is on transport concepts, analysis and research as well as on urban agglomeration programmes.

She studied Geography at the University of Lausanne and completed an extra-occupational MAS in Spatial Planning at ETH Zurich. Between 2007 and 2017 she worked at ecoptima AG in Bern. Since 2018 she is with INFRAS.
