Brian Cox works in the area Transport / Environment on the topics of emissions modelling, drive and fuel strategies and sustainable mobility.

Brian completed his BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary, Canada before moving to Switzerland to work five years at Alstom Power in the development of combined cycle power plants. Following this Brian completed his MSc in Energy Science and Technology and PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the ETH Zürich. His PhD work focused on assessing the environmental burdens of the Swiss transport sector until 2050 under different national and global energy scenarios.
