On behalf of the Federal Coordinating Committee for Family Affairs CCFA, INFRAS Consulting and Research, in collaboration with the University of Neuchâtel's Institute of Economic Research (IRENE) and the Tiresia Institute in Ticino, carried out a qualitative study regarding school-supplementary childcare. Interviews with parents and children from all over Switzerland form the core of the study. The research project serves the CCFA as a basis for the elaboration of recommendations regarding further development of school-supplementary childcare in Switzerland. Furthermore, the study is the foundation for a CCFA publication that is aimed at a broad public, illustrated by personal portraits of six families. Both publications can either be downloaded here or ordered at the CCFA.
